According to factory figures, a total of 2,400 Quattroporte IV, including Evoluzione models, were produced.

However, according to production figures quoted in the book "Maserati in the Third Millenium" by Enio Gollinelli (published in 2001), the total production for the Quattroporte IV was 2841, made up of the following:

2.0 Quattroporte seicilindri: 587 built between 1994 and 1998

2.8 Quattroporte seicilindri: 668 built between 1994 and 1998

3.2 Quattroporte ottocilindri: 415 built between 1996 and 1998

These figures are identical to figures sent to me by the factory in 1998, so we can assume that they are correct. According to the official Maserati site, these three model were discontinued in 1997, to be replaced by the Evoluzione models.

2.8 Quattroporte V6 evoluzione: 241 built between 1997 and 2001

2.8 Quattroporte V6 evoluzione Automatic: 148 built between 1997 and 2001

According to the official Maserati site, production for this model began in 1998

3.2 Quattroporte V8 evoluzione Manual: 258 built between 1998 and 2001

3.2 Quattroporte V8 evoluzione Automatic: 524 built between 1998 and 2001

A later book, Maserati The Grand Prix, Sports and GT cars model by model, 1926-2003 by Maurizio Tabucchi (published in 2003) quotes a total production figure of 2,400.

The official factory figures quoted are:

2.0 Quattroporte seicilindri - 587 units
2.8 Quattroporte seicilindri - 668 units
3.2 Quattroporte ottocilindri - 415 units
2.8 Quattroporte V6 evoluzione - 390 units
3.2 Quattroporte V8 evoluzione - 340 units

A total production figure of 2,400 units.

Main difference between a Regular quattroporte IV and the Evoluzione version.

Rear mirrors, wiper blades, radiator, rims, steering wheel, ext temp indicator place (now under the stereo), 17' inches wheel, no analog clock (replaced by a trident) (Мур, это тебе), cylinder heads, crankshaft, pistons, ball bearing turbo, new Hi-Fi system. New 16 inch eight spoke alloy wheels, with 17 inch wheels available as an option, were now fitted to the entire range a standard equipment.

Darker interior wood, different type of button for windows and AC control, different front armrest (now with only one compartment), new design of the dashboard (more electronic also i.e. the turbocharger boost indicator), seat mechanical part and control buttons, size and type of the logo on the trunk, lock system of the glove compartment, new rear seat carpet, new front door water seal, 2 airbags instead of one, no blow off valve, in the V6 Maserati use the water tank and steering wheel fluid tank of the V8, new alternator type and ancillary belt, new ABS (still from bosch), new fuel line, now you have some space to put your finger and open the trunk =), V6 use the V8 air filters, new wiring (at least in the engine compartment), oil stick....

По моему они идентичны 164/Крома и т.д.
